One of the first companies to start making acrylic paint in the USA, Liquitex has moved with the times pioneering new mediums and extending their range whilst maintaining their top quality. Liquitex acrylics are now available in Heavy Body, Soft Body and Super Heavy Body.

HEAVY BODY

This range of 100 brilliant colours is of the highest quality with superb tinting strength and covering power. They have a firm buttery consistency and can be applied to many surfaces. Firm enough to retain brushmarks it dries to a flexible paint film. All colours are available in 59ml tubes and 36 are also available in the economical 138ml tube size.

COLOUR CHART

Available in 27 colours these are EXTRA thick for building up surfaces, maintaining brush or knife marks and sculptural effects. They dry more slowly than the thinner colours but still retain the flexibility necessary to prevent shrinkage and cracking.

Formerly known as Liquitex Medium Viscosity colour this is a creamy liquid acrylic in 59ml jars ideally suited to use with airbrush or in decorative painting. Often used for fabric painting it dries flat with no brush marks.

20p PAINTS

These pots of GLOSS ENAMELS are good for both art and craft. They can be used like acrylic on canvas or board to give a high gloss finish (very popular with Paintworks staff) – don’t dilute them much as they tend to crack.

Used on glass and ceramics they can be fixed in an oven to make them dishwasher proof. We have a pretty good range of colours but cannot replace them – hence the

VAN GOGH H2Oil PAINT

All the advantages of oil paint without the solvents. Van Gogh H2Oils are watersoluble oil paints, easy to use and environmentally friendly. The drying time is shorter than but the finished dried paint looks like traditional oil paint. There are 40 colours in 40ml tubes all with good lightfastness. They can also be used with traditional oil mediums but then they lose their watersolubility.
