Pigments triple milled to the ideal fineness to give the highest intensity and brilliance. Superb colour range from highly opaque to an exceptional and unusual range of transparents chosen from the most modern and the most traditional palettes. A range of metallic colours with a convincing lustre and Pearl White which, when combined with transparent colours, produces a whole range of pearlised shades. A comparative newcomer to our range (only about 10 years!) and also made in Holland, Old Holland Oil Paint could very well be another contender for "the best oil paint in the world". Like Rembrandt, only the finest of pigments and oils are used but the consistency is somewhat stiffer.

There are 168 colours in the range and many of them are very beautiful. We stock the whole range in 40ml tubes and, although we only stock around 25 in the 225ml tubes, all colours are available in that size and we can quickly obtain them to order.

It has all the advantages of oil paint without the solvents.

Van Gogh H2Oils are watersoluble, easy to use and environmentally friendly. The drying time is shorter than but the finished dried paint looks like traditional oil paint. There are 40 colours in 40ml tubes all with good lightfastness. They can also be used with traditional oil mediums but then they lose their watersolubility.
