This is an excellent range of 65 stable high opacity matt gouache
paints with exceptional covering power. We stock all colours
in 20ml tubes and black and white in 60ml. The special “Mixing
Set” contains lemon, magenta, cyan black and white plus
an informative booklet on colour theory and mixing systems.

These are used by illustrators the world over. The 14ml tubes
are available in x colours.

We’ve recently reduced the range of Plaka that we keep
in stock because, although all our staff and our picture framers
use it, our customers don’t buy much of it. Perhaps it
is the look of the pots since the paint is high quality and
very versatile. Based on a casein binder Plaka performs like
gouache in its matt finish and good covering but it has the
advantage of becoming waterproof overnight. It’s great
for many surfaces but especially wood where you can buff it
to a soft sheen. All that and non-toxic with it. (We will gladly
extend the range again if you all decide to give it a try!). |
