| In addition to all our neatly
categorisable art materials there are all the fascinating,
intriguing or really useful things which all good art
shops should have (and Paintworks does). We love new materials
and if you haven’t found what you need at Paintworks,
or you have a favourite type of material or piece of equipment
which you think we ought to stock – do let us know!. |

We are not 3D specialists but we do have a reasonable range
of basic sculpture materials including terracotta clay, newclay,
plaster, modroc and latex - all those things in big messy bags
which neat clean art shops prefer not to stock! These are not
ideal mail order materials but we are always available to help
you get them out to your car.
As well as the macho 3D stuff we do smaller scale air drying
or oven bake clays, non-hardening modelling materials and a
changing range of kits for kids. |

We are also not printmaking specialists but we do have a pretty
comprehensive range of blockprinting materials for artists and
children. These include oil and waterbased inks, rollers, lino
and cutters. We also stock a good range of Japanese and European
papers which are ideal for blockprinting.
Our screenprinting range is confined to System 3 mediums which
enable you to convert acrylic paints into inks for use on paper
or fabric.
We stock a small range of Charbonnel etching ink, etching balls
and scrim. |

We have a lovely range of Italian glass mosaic tiles plus tile
nippers, adhesive and grout.

Despite the floor space limitation at Paintworks we have a very
good choice of easels and are often able to offer these at bargain
prices. We have radial and H-shaped studio easels, wooden and
metal sketching easels, box easels, table easels and an amazing
easel which can be used vertically or can be converted to a
horizontal position. |

Palettes – wooden, metal, plastic, paper - dippers, palette
knives, sponges, stumps, manikins and horsikins, mahl sticks,
brush tubes, daylight simulation bulbs, pencil extenders, staple
guns, brush cleaning soap…we stock them. |
