PAINTWORKS DEMONSTRATIONS AND MASTERCLASSES
SATURDAYS DURING NOVEMBER
Every November Saturday
(and 1st December) we will be encouraging you to improve your techniques or learn some new ones in a series of demonstrations and masterclasses.
Everybody is welcome but there is limited space so we are implementing a ticket system. If you’re planning on coming please let us know with your name and an e-mail address.
You may still get in without a ticket but, if we run out of space, it’s ticket holders first. As a further incentive to turning up you will receive a money off voucher for the products being used in the demo.
Timings are not exact yet but typically there will be a morning session from 10.30 and an afternoon session from 2.30.
Can’t make it? We’ll be videoing the demos for viewing on our website afterwards.

CANVAS STRETCHING

We kick off with resident picture framer
Roy Willingham showing you the right way to stretch a canvas.
A basic skill you might think, but art school education is not what it was and we are frequently asked for help with this.
We’ll be offering 25% off both our stretcher ranges to customers buying them along with canvas and primer on this Saturday.

GOLDEN MEDIUMS MASTERCLASS
Soraya French demonstrates the many uses of Golden’s huge range of acrylic mediums. Come and ask her about effects you’re trying to achieve.
We always sell Golden paints and mediums at 25% less than the RRP but will be giving an EXTRA 10% off on this Saturday along with 15% off any brushes you buy at the same time. |
